The Powerlifting America Classic (Raw) Open National Championships will be held at The Reno Ballroom in Downtown Reno, Nevada.

Gym:

Reno’s American Iron Gym has graciously offered to open their doors for one week (03/11 – 03/18) to all athletes of the 2024 Powerlifting America Classic Open National Championship! With 10 Squat Racks, 5 Mono-Lifts, 8 Deadlift Platforms, 12 Bench Press racks, 3 sets of Competition KG plates, Specialty Bars, IPF approved platform equipment, and all the iron you may need, their Training Hall is a powerlifter’s dream come true. Plus, the gym also features a cardio room, field house, dedicated leg room, and 20,000 square feet of free weights and machines. Our partners at Visit Reno/Tahoe have created a powerlifter’s guide to their city, filled with tips, tricks, and recommendations for those visiting Reno and Tahoe as a part of the 2024 Powerlifting America Classic Open and University National Championships. Eligibility:

Athletes must achieve a total (in any weight class) from a Powerlifting America, NAPF, IPF, or IPF Affiliate event between April 01, 2022, and March 13, 2024.

All Athletes are required to be current members of Powerlifting America by February 28th, 2024.

Uniforms:

All support suits, shirts, wraps, belts, singlets, and knee sleeves must be on the IPF Approved List.

Awards:

Medals will be given to 1st – 5th place by total and weight class for all divisions.

Best Lifter Awards will be awarded to the top male and female lifters at the conclusion of the event.
