Preparing to Compete Internationally
IPF sanctioned championships require athletes to submit an IPF consent form, a current Adel anti-doping certificate, and a passport style photo. These documents can now be uploaded to your Sport80 account at any time, regardless of whether you have received an invitation. Doing so puts you in the best position to avoid missing deadlines.
Follow these steps and use the detailed instructions when needed to upload your documents.
- Start by logging into Sport80.
- Make sure your email address is current as this is how you will receive your invitation and communication from your coach.
- Fill out your IPF consent form. (Scroll down to orange “IPF-Consent-Form” link.
- Upload the consent form to Sport80 in the Athlete Documentation section.
- If this is your first international event, complete your Adel International Athlete Training and download the certificate. If you have previously completed the training, follow the instructions in this video walkthrough to download an existing certificate (note only certificates from 2021 or more recent are valid).
- Once completed, upload your Adel Certificate to Sport80 in the Anti-Doping section.
- Upload a passport style photo in the Athlete Documentation section. Remember—this photo will be shown on the livestream of your. The IPF will reject photos that are unprofessional or that do not clearly show your face.
